01

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can help maintain a session, protect website functions and remember information.

Local storage and session storage allow information to be stored in your browser. We apply the same principles concerning transparency and consent to these technologies as to cookies. Whether consent is needed depends on the purpose of the technology, rather than its name.

02

Necessary technologies

We use necessary session and security technologies to keep users signed in, protect forms, prevent unauthorised access and support functions requested by the user.

Shopping-cart storage may also be necessary to remember the products you select and complete checkout. These technologies do not require consent where they meet the applicable legal exemption, but we explain their use.

A technology is not treated as necessary merely because it is useful to us. We do not use necessary technologies for unrelated optional analytics or advertising.

Blocking necessary cookies or storage through your browser may prevent account, security or checkout functions from working correctly.

03

Preferences and optional technologies

Browser storage may be used to remember your selected currency and interface preferences. Where storage is genuinely necessary to provide a function you expressly request and a legal exemption applies, it may operate without consent. Additional preference storage is treated as optional.

Optional analytics technologies may help measure website use and performance. Advertising technologies may be used to select or measure advertising. Under this Policy, optional technologies require your prior consent before they are activated.

SavageWilds does not currently use non-essential advertising cookies. If optional analytics, advertising or other technologies are introduced, we will update the relevant information and consent controls before using them.

04

Consent, refusal and changes to your choices

Where optional technologies are offered, the cookie banner allows you to accept optional cookies, reject optional cookies or manage your preferences. Optional categories are disabled until you select them. Rejecting optional technologies is as easy as accepting them.

Continuing to browse, scrolling, closing the banner, creating an account or accepting our Terms & Conditions does not constitute consent to optional technologies. We do not use preselected options to obtain that consent.

You can reopen Cookie settings on the website to change or withdraw your choices at any time. Withdrawal stops future storage and access through the optional technologies concerned and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We may use necessary storage to remember your choices and avoid repeatedly asking the same question. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from using functions that do not depend on them.

05

Technology information and storage periods

This Policy describes our general approach. Information about the technologies actually used, including their names or storage keys, providers, purposes, categories and durations, is available through the website’s cookie information or settings. That information is accessible before any required consent is given.

Session cookies normally last for the relevant browsing session. Persistent cookies remain until their configured expiry or until they are deleted. Local storage does not have a built-in automatic expiry and may remain until it is removed by the website or cleared through your browser.

The period for which information remains on your device is separate from the period for which personal data already collected is retained by us or a provider. Relevant personal-data retention information is explained in our Privacy Policy and the applicable provider’s notice.

06

Third parties and browser controls

Payment providers and other integrated services may use technologies for authentication, security and payment processing. The provider identified at checkout explains its own processing in its privacy and cookie information.

A technology is not automatically necessary simply because it is supplied by a payment or infrastructure provider. Optional technologies within integrations on our website must follow the applicable consent requirements.

External websites that you choose to visit operate under their own policies and controls. Links to those websites do not authorise optional tracking on SavageWilds.

You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies and other site data. Clearing site data may remove your shopping cart, saved preferences and cookie choices. Browser controls supplement the choices offered on our website and do not replace our obligation to obtain consent where required.

07

Updates and contact

The Last updated date indicates when this Policy was last revised. If changes to our technologies or their purposes will begin later, we will separately state when those changes take effect.

Before introducing material changes, we will update the relevant cookie information and settings so that you can understand the technologies, providers, purposes and storage periods concerned. Where a change requires fresh consent, the affected optional technologies will remain disabled until that consent is given.

Publication of an updated Policy, continued browsing or acceptance of the Terms & Conditions does not override an existing refusal or constitute fresh cookie consent. You may change or withdraw your choices at any time through Cookie settings.

For questions, contact support@savagewilds.net or write to INTEVERO GROUP LTD at the registered office stated above.

08

Cookie settings and technology information

No optional analytics or advertising technologies are currently enabled. The first-party storage below supports the site and preferences you request. Your browser's site-data settings let you inspect, block or remove it.

savagewilds_session — SavageWilds account session, form security and sign-in. Necessary cookie; configured lifetime: 2592000 seconds.

savagewilds.cart.v2 — SavageWilds shopping cart. Necessary local storage; remains until the cart is cleared, a completed payment clears it, or you remove site data.

savagewilds.currency.v1, savagewilds.payment-method.v1 and savagewilds.theme — SavageWilds currency, payment-method and theme preferences you select. Functional local storage; remains until replaced or you remove site data.

savagewilds.mia-checkout.v1 — SavageWilds pending MIA checkout reference, used to prevent duplicate checkout requests. Necessary local storage; removed after payment or when checkout is reset. It has no automatic browser expiry.

savagewilds.server-status — SavageWilds server-status cache. Functional session storage; ends with the tab's browsing session.

Payment-provider storage on an external checkout is described by that provider. Clearing site data may sign you out and remove saved cart and preferences.
